Give Up My Full Time Job to Invest??

Experienced Investor:

It seems to me that in order to make money in real property, I would need more hours in a day than I currently have. What did you do when you started? Did you dump your job and find real estate related work? What do you suggest? [ Edited by Rebreps on Date 06/16/2003 ]

    Rebreps,

    Glad to meet you.

How to start in creative real estate investing by the Cashman.

Find A Need and Fill It.

The two things that helped me the most were sales training and an understanding of marketing. Sales and Marketing will get the job done everytime in this great industry.

It is not the amount of time spent, it is the amount of quality time spent. In other words you can put in 40 hours of guess work or 10 hours of knowing what to do and what to say that gets the job done.

Some of the highest paid people in the world are salespeople, with the least amount of effort and not using their own money.

I have a very close friend that makes $500K a year calling on homeowners, no he is not in creative real estate investing he sells Water Conditioners.

Pleasure is all mine Mr. Locke:

I understand that time well spent is quality time well spent. Sometimes, I just find it difficult to apply this concept when locating, securing, fixing up, and selling property. But, thank you for your input.
