Found This House But....
Ok I found this great deal its a pre foreclousure I think ( Im very new ) its in a neighborhood where the " market value is healthy . the probelm is its abanoned no one lives there , so I went to the courthouse found out the owners name , the name of the company that holds the mortage , owner is MIA , called the mortgage company and its not been forclosed yet , I dont want to let this slip though my hands but not sure what other avenue is open . Any suggestions ??? 
Next step is to track down the missing home owner, if you can do it you will have a good chance at getting this house since its vacant. I send a letter to the owner with RETURN ADDRESS REQUESTED under my return address. When the letter gets to a vacant house the Post Office will send my letter back with the forwarding address if they left one. Knock on all of the neighbors doors for information. Call thru the phone book under same last names asking for info.
The more persistent you are the better chance you will have of success.
