What Documents Need To Be Filed?
I realize this is a basic questions but I can't seem to find an answer. What documents need to be filed when you purchase a house in foreclosure? ...and who do they need to be filed with, the Recorders office?
I'm sure someone must know...
All you really need is a deed and you would file at the county court house where the property is located. If you are buying subject to on a preforeclosure you would want to take other steps to help keep the due on sale clause in the mortgage from possibly being violated. See the sub2 forum for info on some of the steps to take.
