THE SQUEAKY WHEEL THEORY
Okay, it's been over 10 days and I haven't heard a word from either of the lenders in my short sale deal. JohnLocke suggested I start the squeaky wheel theory, but I'm curious as to what methods all y'all would recommend.
I was thinking of refaxing the paperwork with a new coversheet saying "Perhaps the last fax was misplaced...please review and reply" and then next week if no response I'd start calling.
I have a fear of calling, however, because it took me nearly two hours just to track down the Loss Mitigation depts for these two lenders..in fact, one CSR told me that they didn't have a LM dept. (EEK!) I have no one by name to speak to, so it's practically start at square one talking to a stranger who's not all that interested in the situation.
What to do?
