Short Sale Leads
Brand new to this site & forum. Hi ALL. Also, brand new to investing. After reading a few books it seems to me that SHORT SALES are for me. So, Where does one find short sale leads. I watch the local news paper legal notices is there any other sources that are available WITHOUT PAYING? Any infor would be appreciated! Thanks!!

No need to search for short sales. If you active in the preforeclosure acquisition business... they will find you.
Thank You for the reply. However, i am still a little corn fuzed. What can I do to become ACTIVE in the preforeclosure biz and exactly how will they find me?

You can actually call your local realtor and ask him to get you some short sales. Just tell him that you will work the whole short sale process. They love that. Short Sales are a dime a dozen right now over here in California. Especially Riverside County.
Thanks. That sounds good. Ya, your right about the dime a doz. I am looking in Lake Havasu City AZ and there is a ton of foreclosure sales in progress. I have been send out letters to people i see in the news paper that are going to trustee sale and i am getting responses. I have been shying away from the listed properties but may be i should contact the RE agents and talk w/ them. Thanks again

Are you looking for short sales where you are or anywhere? I have been dealing with preforclosures and shortsalepro is 100% correct they will find you. And he is right about a lot of leg work for not as much $$ . But if you are sure thats what you want I had a few calls today of people wanting to do a short sale. PM me if you want.
