Postponing the foreclosure auction?
I've had several calls this weekend already from homeowners facing the foreclosure auction on tuesday....grrr....where were they when i began calling and leaving messages 3 weeks ago!?
Assuming that they want nothing other than to keep their credit intact and possibly u-haul $$...is there anything that I can do at this point to postpone the auction process and give me time to set up a trust and find a R/B?
Can they file chap 13 THE DAY BEFORE THE AUCTION and cancel after we work everything out? (I know they can file, but can they do it this late in the game?)
If they can't make their mortgage payments, how will they be able to pay the BK attorney?
Derrick mentioned this so I'm sure there is a do-able answer. Just wondering. Any other options to postpone auction other that BK?
If I were able to (by some miracle), get all the info together and submit a deal to the their lender on Monday...will the lender take notice and postpone the auction if they think they may have a deal w/ me?
