Newbie Here
Hi, Im really excited to find a site like this. I need all the help I can get! I recently decided I wanted to start investing in real estate. I almost took the Robert Allan course but decided to just learn on my own. So here I am.
Any one have any advice on robert allan or any of the others selling their "expert" advice????
Also, Where should I start looking for preforeclosure opportunities????
The court house??? What should I ask for when I'm there?
What other places should I look. I'm on a mission!!! I want to look every where. I started with the assessors office and found some properties owned by banks. Then when I called the banks they didntknow anything about the properties????
Any advice would really be appreciated. Im glad this site exists! What a great idea. Thank-you, Mary Ellen
Welcome Mary Ellen. Before spending any money on courses search the archives on this site and others to read all about foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, etc. Then you should read about the foreclosure laws for your state to make sure you don't break any laws.
The legal foreclosure process should also tip you off as to what is the first document filed in a foreclosure action. Once you know this (could be lis penden or other) you can then learn your local recorders office to research these filings.
Ok, got it? that should keep you busy for at least a week. Good luck.
Thank you!
I got it. I think that will keep me pretty busy for a while. I did not think about looking up the legalities!!!!!
Great advice! Im putting on the coffee now!
Thanks again!
