New To The Foreclosure Market In New Jersey

Hello, I am very new to the foreclosure market in New Jersey and wondered if anyone could provide me with the top three things to do before purchasing a foreclosure property?

Thanks,

    hi,
New Jersey is Judicial Foreclosure state in which you have more time to help the homeowner from foreclosure. First of all, please check if New Jersey has access to deeds online. If not, you'll have to go to the courthouse and check deeds for Lis Pendens (ask your court clerk) for assistance. Second, if the homeowner is in preforeclosure, get the mailing address, name, phone number and write a letter to provide your service in helping the homeowner. If you get no response, then write another or make a phone call or like myself, just knock on homeowner's door. I hope this helps a little bit. Thanks. Happy investing.
