How much time does a homeowner need to stop foreclosure on her/his property? confused

    Foreclosure laws and customs differ from state to state, and sometimes from county to county. In general, there are only a few ways to stop a foreclosure. Cure the default. Get a workout with mortgagee(s). File Bankruptcy.
