Foreclosure Properties That Are Vacant.

Hello I had a question about vacant properties that are in foreclosure. Can you buy them or redeem them with out owner authorization and if you can how.

Thank you,
Alfred

No, you cannot buy them without owner authorization if they are in pre-foreclosure stage. You can only buy them without owner, when they actually go to auction.

I would suggest trying to find an owner, if the property is vacant, they will difinitely be motivated to sell.

Have you contacted them yet? Are you prepared to make an offer--have you done your due diligence to determine what the house is worth, what it will cost to bring up to standard (unless you intend to wholesale it to another investor)?
Do you have an exit plan--buy and hold as rental, rehab and sell, etc.?
