Finally Got Current Sheriffs Deed List!, Now What?
After many trips to the county registration of deeds office, I finally got in touch with the right person down their who gave me a print-out of all the property's in the county that have been forclosed on in the past two months, but are still in the redemption period, which is anywhere from one month to a year depending on the lender and if the house is vacant or not. What I propose to do is to find a property with enough equity in it that I can get a purchase agreement from the homeowner for enough to pay off the mtg co, give the homeowner u-haul money, and then assign the purchase agreement to another investor, making sure I leave at least a 30% difference between the assignee's total investment in the property and the after repaired value of the property. I'm open to any suggestions from anyone who has been their, and done that to the easiest way to accomplish this. [ Edited by CGOODEN on Date 07/31/2003 ]
