EXPERTS HELP PLEASE
Sup,
Does anybody have any experience with Federal Tax Liens and the Expiration of Collection Statute 6502(a)?
Property owner is assessed in 1996 with $175,000 of unpaid taxes for years 1991 and 1992, and the NFTL is recorded in 1997.
In 2002 he quitclaimed to his daughter who stills owns the property today.
In 2003 the father is deceased but still has the outstanding debt on his name.
If the daughter quitclaimed to me and if I waited until after 2006 to sell it can I have the NFTL removed because it is expired by the 10 year rule?
serious replies please!
peace

Are these payroll taxes? Or for personal/corporate taxes?
