Anyone know John Schaub?

Anyone out there know anything about REI gooh-rooh John Schaub? I like what Ive read about him, but tou know how that goes. Any insightful info would be appreciated. Thanx, Riggs.
PS- He's based in Florida.
I knew John back when he was hooked up with Jack Miller. I haven't had any contact with him in many years but unless he's gone nuts or something it would be hard to go wrong following either's advice or guidence.
IMHO he and Jack really know their stuff, particularly SFHs.
