Foreclosure Stopped...how Do I Find Out?

My home was up for foreclosure on may 4th. My mortgage companied agreed to let me pay attorney fees and one payment......2150.00. We didn't agree until the day before the auction....The day of the auction I sent the money Western Union. I couldn't get in touch with my mortgage counselor from the loss mitigation counselor until 9:30..sale started at 10:00 a.m. and ended 4:00 p.m....not sure when my home was going to be sold...just know between those hours.....they received the money at about 11:00. They wanted to stop the sale and work out a re-payment plan. But I can't find out of it was stopped in time or not....no one has contacted me and I can't reach my couns......
Who contacts you if it is sold...and how soon....help?! I was a little optimistic yesterday because i got them money....just need to know if it was too late.......

    Where are you located?

You can call either the local Circuit Civil or County Civil Court divisions and speak with someone in the "Foreclosure" or other governing department - someone should be able to tell you over the phone exactly what has happened with the case. It will help if you can give them the case number off of any correspondance you have received in the mail (i.e. LP, Notice, Judgement, etc).

    Good luck.
