Foreclosure Investing In Maryland

Hello Fellow Investors,

Myself And my girlfriend are newbie investors looking to eventually start our own company in the future once we become familiar with the investing biz. Right now we would like to start with foreclosure investing seeing that you prob get the best deals for a high ROI. I have a few questions about achieving our goal.

1. Does Maryland State release foreclosure listing to the public??(Courthouse)
2. Who do we need on our team to close a deal? (tax attorney, realator, etc...)
3 what type of enity should we open?? LLC, S-corp, C-corp.
4 Does anyone have referreals to tax attorney, realaotrs,...etc in MD
5 where to get the money to purchase homes(Currently have 10k)
5 Does anyone want to be a mentor to some young motivated investors? :-D :-D

I guess this is good for now, once I get feedback i'm sure I'll have more questions.

Thanks,

    Welcome to TCI,

    1. Does Maryland State release foreclosure listing to the public??(Courthouse)

All foreclosures are open to the general public by way of local paper, legal news paper, by court house research just to name a few.

    2. Who do we need on our team to close a deal? (tax attorney, realtor, etc...)

You need attorneys, agents, & title companies

3 what type of enity should we open?? LLC, S-corp, C-corp.

This really will depend upon volume level, but most common is an LLC

4 Does anyone have referreals to tax attorney, realaotrs,...etc in MD

You should network with a local REI club in your area for local references

5 where to get the money to purchase homes(Currently have 10k)

Lenders, hard moneylenders, other investors just to name a few

5 Does anyone want to be a mentor to some young motivated investors?

You should network with a local REI club; I will tell you that true mentoring will not come cheap

Suse: Like you, I'm new to this too. But fortunately, I'm a realtor and have access to MLS and market information. I recently joined MAREIA (Mid Atlantic Real Estate Investors Association) and think you, too, might find it worthwhile. They meet the 2nd Thurs. of each month at the Pikesville Hilton at 6:30 pm. They have great presenters and the networking is well worth the time. Go to www.MAREIA.com for more information. Good luck.
