Foreclosure Homeowner Protection Laws Accross The US

Posted this in the Foreclosure Forum and got no responses. I probably should have posted here first.

I am trying to identify what other states have recently passed Foreclosure Homeowner Protection laws simlar to the one that passed in Maryland this past May. Since the law is so new in MD, I have not been able to find an attorney willing to provide any advice. Therefore I am doing my own research to get an understanding of what is and is not legal. I believe Maryland has intentionally written their statute to be confusing and scare investors out of their market. Any help is appreciated.

Is your loan a fixed or adjustable loan? I would make him responsible for paying the taxes and insurane. no telling what they could be in 20 years. Are you giving him the deed or doing a contract for deed? You can have a real estate attorney draw up the paper work. He should pay you for 30 years, not until it is paid off.
