Foreclosure Auction

Got a phone call the other night from a home owner who was in foreclosure I asked all the normal questions, when I got to the question on when the auction was I was told it was the 19th of July I said ok well do you know what happened? I was told no they didnt hear anything yet. I said Ok well has your lawyer heard anything? I was told no. Fast foward to last night home owner calls me again to ask me some questions I asked once again have you heard anything I was told that they still havent heard anything other then the letter about the auction and that they had to get out of the house. I said ok spoke a little while longer and the home owner now tells me that they moved out of the house last month and that someone had locked up the house. Now this was a different story then the last phone call where they said they were still living in the house. Has anyone run into a situation like this and is there anything that can really be done since there was a auction on the 19th of last month? I will be contacting the bank to get all the information about the auction.

they should have a 30 day right of redemption. you need to find out and start dealing from there....kenmax

Yes, that is what I am thinking house apprasied at 105,000 when pruchased 3 years ago and there was a 70k note on it. Funny thing is people always seem to leave out the important information like telling me that they did move out last month....

Some states do not have a redemption period; like Maryland.
