depends on the condition of the floor lam. is better for the "imperfect" floor it is more forgiving. it has more "flex" . if the floor is in excellent condition either will work as well then it becomes a matter of "taste" and "cost"... for me the lam. is easier to install and a less exp......kenmax[ Edited by kenmax on Date 04/04/2004 ]
also depends on what room you are flooring (carpet works well most places), who's doing the installation, and the market. I always find ceramic tile helps sell kitchens and baths and really isn't that expensive if you buy it at the local discount store that handles closeouts. I think the self-stick vinyl looks bad but depends, again on your market.
