First Eviction

Preparing for my first eviction. I would greatly appreciate comments of guidance from more experienced investors.

Preparing means what? Are they late on payments, destroying property, etc. What is the reason for the eviction.

What have you done as a response? Have you given them a three or seven day notice, hired an attorney, etc.

What is your relationship to the tenants. Are you friendly, hostile, etc.

I am also starting my own eviction process. The tenants are 1 week late (second month) and at my last inspection there was some serious property damage to the home.

What are the steps that I need to take with this process? I have never done this before and would really appreciate any help or advise.

    Thanks,
    JS.

Both of you guys need to contact a local investor in your area, preferrably in your local REI club and find out what is standard for your area for eviction.

Lawfull evictions are different from state to state, and they are always different.

I found out that I was doing evictions incorrect until a couple years into my investing carreer. I could have saved myself time and money if I would have just joined a club to start off with.

I'm new to this and in the process of purchasing my first rental. What is an REI club - How do I find out if there is one in the DFW area?
