Finding Vacant Home Owners

I've found a house that is in foreclosure and is vacant. The auction is in 3 weeks. Has anyone had any experience tracking down homeowners who have vacated their house? I'm currently considering using the address search offered through ****Must Reach Freshman Investor status before posting URL's***

Does anyone have any techniques or on-line resources that they've found to be particularly effective?

Thanks for your help.

Jeff

    Hi Jeff:
Why dont you try looking online at the follwing resourses:
    www.anywho.com
    www.phonenumber.com

or some of the paid searches:
    www.merlindata.com
    www.findtheseller.com

Another technique that works great is to go talk to the neighbors and see if they have a forwarding address or phone number. You could even send a postcard to the address with "Address correction requested" marked on it. The post-office will send you the correct address for a fee of course.

There is equity in the house and I'm trying to work out a subject to or a short sale.
