Finding The Resale Value Of My Mobile Home
I am in the process of filing bankruptcy and in order for the court to not sell my mobile home i need to find the resale value of it. It is 16 years old and is in the need of numerous repairs. I have no money to have someone come appraise it and was wondering if anyone on here could help me with some useful information. Your assistance will be greatly appreiciated.

So do you want high or low quotes?
If you want low bids, call two or three MH dealers or "doers" from your Grocery store freebie newspaper, and ask them to give it a lookover and a bid...you'll be offered peanuts, which might suit you perfectly.

When you make your calls, ask who in town buys used mobile homes and call them. You'll likely find, as I did, a whole sub-culture of wheeler dealers in town. They'd probably come out and make you an offer, in writing if possible. Unlikely it will be much. If you want an even lower offer, make sure they know they have to uproot it and haul it away. Perhaps to your benefit, older MHs usually aren't worth much.
