Finding the Deal - Bird Dog Emphasis

I'd like to see more discussion on unique methods for finding the deals.

The eBook emphasises marketing such as newspaper ads and bandit signs.

Personally, I'm not a bandit sign fan - because I like to network with politicians and other folks from city hall - so I can't afford to be on some clerks 'hit list.'

Newspaper Advertising in my fair city is also pretty darn expensive and not terribly effective - in my experiences with I BUY HOUSES ads in the past.

I like the flyer idea and assume that targeting a farm would be the best strategy for that use.

Anyone had any success using other forms of marketing (to get the anxious seller leads?)

Let's brainstorm...

Heidi

Read John Michael's article, Weekly 15 Hour Investor Schedule. It will show you how to get leads coming to you using OPT (Other People's Time).

Thanks Tanya...I hadn't seen that article.

In fact I've only known about this site roughly 3 days.

One question I have is about what to say in the 'letters' he suggests sending to Lenders, Probate Attorney's, etc.

Is it just a generic...Hi, I can buy houses for cash letter, or what?

    Thanks,
    Heidi

Dont be afraid to ask! Private message or e-mail John Michael and ask him. He wrote the article, so he will be able to answer your question better than me.

Click on the "My TCI" link at the top of the page. You will see "Send a Private Message to: " in the middle of the page, type in his name, "JohnMichael" and send him a private message. The people on this website are here to help in anyway they can. So don't be afraid to ask your heart away...

I actually did PM John. Haven't heard from him yet (not that I'm complaining).

Do you or does anyone know the answer to 'what goes in the letter' question.

In the meantime - I wait with baited breath.

    Thanks,
    Heidi

I would be interested in seeing what is written in the letters also.

Heidi, if you receive any info, would you be able to email it to me? debbie.shnaidman@verizon.net

If you're looking for "Weekly 15 Hour Investor Schedule", go to search and look up "John Michael".

    Its in there.....
