Finding Property Owners

Does anyone know a good way to find property owners who just abandon their property. I know of 3-4 good properties where the owner just left the house. I checked the tax records and of course, the address listed is the actual house I checking on.

Any ideas. I thought of hiring a skip tracer

With a propety that expensive, i would like to purchase in at 80% of FMV after repairs. That should be enough cushion. I would not pay no where near their asking price.

It seems like they are trying to sale to an owner occupant.

My first offer would be at $690,000.

Nothing new. Subject To has had a bad name for quite awhile as evidenced by the legislative impediments enacted or proposed to be enacted in NC, MD, and TX.

The famous Porter case in IL about three years ago did more to damage the perception of a Subject To deal than the CNN story this morning.

    Da Wiz,
You seem to be very informative, about subject to in various states. Specifically mine. Where do you get all of this information from?

    Charlotte,

Research. As to Cheney and Rumdum, no comment.
