Filing A Lien At The Court House

I filed a lien on a piece of property in 1998 for $15,000-. I talked to an attorney that is handling a forclosure on this property at this time. He claims that I did not file the lien properly on the properly and that I am "out of luck" unless I hire an attorney to straighten things out.

I had it filed and recorded at the courthouse. What other steps are there?
Am I "out of luck"?

I suggest you get a copy of the document you filed showing the recording information and get an attorney. I don't know what that attorney is talking about. He may be right, but who knows? Get an attorney.
