FICO Estimator
Hey folks, just ran across this today, which I did not know existed. If you go to the bankrate website, and do a search on FICO, you can access a FICO Score Estimator, which will give you an idea of what your score is. When I put in my info it came back with a pretty accurate value.
Also saw the following info today ...
Your credit score is based on the information in your credit report. According to MyFICO®, the categories and weightings of importance are as follows:
payment history (35 percent)
amounts owed (30 percent)
length of credit history (15 percent)
types of credit used (10 percent)
new credit (10 percent)
