Local TCI Chats Or Groups?
Thought I would throw the idea out there...
Is it possible to create chats and groups with other TCI members, where they can register to a certain area to join in and share their own investment strategies with a local group through the affiliation of TCI... Networking amongst our own... on a local level... the creation of local TCI groups nationwide but the memebers meet and share in their ideas... as an association or club would... then bring the ideas that back to the TCI board....
Joel,
We are interested in launching the Chicago area. The first meeting will be this Sunday 10/26

AHHHHHH (your like the fifth person who has suggesting this today).
I am still working on it.
Group Support comes out later this week.
But remember, we will be only supporting Groups that physically have meetings.[ Edited by joel on Date 10/20/2003 ]

If you are starting a list... I would like to be concidered for my area...
Thanks, Dave

Propose TCI state catagorys (50 catagorys). I participate in an option forum that does that which is separate from the option strategy catagorys. We announce goup meetings etc.
Especially because of the networking needs of this type of investing and state unique laws, this approach would be of great benefit to us all.

I am in San Diego and I also handle Riverside County. Is there people out there that want to do California and Arizona. Thanks, Marian
I think a multi-state chat would be nice.
Remember the goal of TCI Groups is for Groups to manage their own groups more effectively.
When we have the individual websites setup it will be an even better feature.
Dave,
Tonight is the first meeting of the REI Cash Club of Connecticut in Cromwell, CT.
You will see these clubs developing in cities all across the United States very shortly.
The empahsis is on training albiet an invetor or bird dog then bringing them together through networking with one another.
Through teleconferencing and power point presentations at each monthly meeting the bird dog and investor will learn to work together for everyone's mutual benfit. I have hundreds of student investors and bird dogs who will be joining in.
This has been on my back burner for quite awhile, but is now coming together, with the advent of this sites new Groups section each club will be tied in together.
