Leisure Side Of Investing
I mentioned this to Joel before but was wondering if anyone had other comments as well. I think it would be a good idea to have a off the topic forum. More or less about what we do with the money we make from real estate. It would be fun and another interesting side to things. I believe we have enough members to support a new forum or thread. But what do others think....? Yes, I know there are other web pages out there for that (like the Hummer H2 owner site) But half of them gained there cash flow from other means. It would be a creative and motivating forum to read and post on. I always am interested in what things we as investors use that money towards. Yes, it is usually towards more investments but the other things that make this world fun and relaxing. Any thoughts??? 
Most of my leisure money goes to buying old cars to restore,Harley-Davidson motorcycles,and exotic cars. My money has been mostly made in being in owning houses in low income areas. Or as some people call me a "slumlord".
AnyOne else think we should get this new forum or thread..?.. I would love it... Maybe Im just kinda curious like that. It could really make this a very active site. I can only stay here so long, thats when i go to a couple other forums that go along with my hobbies and other interests... i'm not sure how things are now since i'm not around all too much, but not too far back, most of the knowledgeable people who posted were really only people out to prey on the aspiring newbie or they were people who have never really done too much in the viens of real life investing but have done a whole lot of studying...these people wouldn't be able to post what they put their investment profits toward since they have none, i would think that a form of that nature would be awsome to use newbies out there who love to hear about the toys and whatnot but i think the people who would most qualify to post in that fourm would be out doing deals...i also think it might be a bit distracting to the real estate newcomer. instead of spending time reading about who spent how much on what, that time could be better invested in bulding their business. it's good to get motivated and all, but if it's motivation you want, go down to your local luxury car/boat dealership or meet with some local successful investors......or talk with $cash$ (who can acutally prove his success)
