Fannie Mae Doing Own Rehab
Was getting ready to put an offer on a Fannie Mae home thru a realitor friend of mine. When she called the listing agent she was told that Fannie Mae is going to rehab the house. This house has been on the market for 21/2 months. The house is also 17,000.00 over fmv. The listing agent told my agent that that price included the rehab. Just wondering if other people are seeing that Fannie Mae is rehabbing their own house on a regular basic or what is up, and to price the house over the fmv ahead of time. Guess I was wondering if this is Fannie Mae's ideal or the realtor? :-?
When you see FNMA owns a house, run, and fast.
They are doing their own rehabs, and are in extreme pain to deal with in that regard.
