Experience With Bank Of Am. And Short

For those who have worked with BOA, have they been pretty receptive if you settle the short with quick cash?

Thanks smile

It isn't so much who services the loan... in this case BOA, it's more about the type of loan and who owns that particular loan and the owners' loss mitigation criteria.

BOA might service loans for a dozen investors who own portfolios of loans. So how they treat your subject loan might well be different than how they treat my subject loan. They service VA, FHA, and conventionals with PMI, without PMI, and from different classes of risk.

The best response to your question would be, "BOA appears to be well staffed, organized, versed in workout strategies, and responds to telephone inquiries promptly..."

But I couldn't give that answer with a straight face.

    SSP--
Thanks for the feedback. Man, as active as you are on this board providing good solid advice, you should start your own forum. Anyway---just saying "thanks again."

I did get the criteria from BOA and working on it this week. Finished the 2nd (Homecomings) short offer last night. We'll let you know--jim
