What are they trying to do? Are you having issues with them or just curious? When dealing with mortgage banks, lenders, brokers etc, you need to be really specific when researching them. The company I was at before, had about 10 other firms in the country that had the same exact name, there were a handful of variations spread across the country and even a few lenders. I never knew this until sometime stated that they would not do business with the firm I was with at that time because they came across an article stating my firm had a track record of doing business. I was shocked because I knew our firm and a clean sheet and only do straight business. Doing some investigating of our own we come to find out there was a firm that had been registered as a variation of our name and was using our name for marketing purposes. Our firm sued them, we went to arbitration and won. The bottom line is that there are allot of good firms out there and a few !#$%!#$ firms that make it difficult for the rest of us.
Call several mortgage brokers and ask for their opinion. They will give you the 'behind the scenes' review.

Is it the Graystone Mortgage with a web-site at ****Must Reach Senior Investor status before posting URL's***?
If so, I too would be curious about anyone's direct experience with them.
