Equity @ Closing ???
ok, is it possible to get some of the equity out @ closing?
I negotiated the 2nd out of the way ($3,400 vs $24k). Now I'm going to offer the 1st $90k (FMV $170k to play it safe let's say $160k).
Has anyone walked away from the closing table w/the equity without having to re-fi???
Where would the cash come from?
w/o the re-fi or 2nd or 3rd, there's nothing to convert the equity in the RE into cash.
Sell a 10% interest to someone as part of the deal?
I hope you don't think I'm crazy for asking the quest, but I read a post a while back where the buyer left w/$28k check @ closing, but I wasn't able to get the details on how he did that.

The time I have walk w/ case in hand is when there was a seller/agent credit or a restructuring of the debt.
