Door Knocking Package

Hello Investors,

I am looking for some well written articles on foreclosures...now before, everyone starts posting the obvious, let me be more detailed...I am looking for articles written for a home owner NOT an investor.

Any suggestions on additional supplements are appreciated.

Thanks,

Vis cool grin

    Hello!!

If you are in trouble and are experiencing a possible foreclosure of your home.....let me be as straightforward as I can with you!!

Please have a consultation with a real estate lawyer in your area that also handles bankruptcies. It's important that he/she handle both. If you are in trouble with your mortgage, you need competent advice. A good lawyer can do that for you. You also NEED to communicate with your mortgage company and let them know the circumstances that you are in. But consult an attorney BEFORE signing any documents they want you to sign........

If this advice is not appropriate, then I apologize.......but if you are asking for help because you are going through foreclosure.......please listen to what I say....I have counselled MANY people in foreclosure.

Thanks for your kindness. I am not in pre-foreclosure.

I am a purchaser of properties looking to maximize my marketing.

    Thanks again,

    ThomasPerry,

    Glad to meet you.

You know the one thing about me is I can always tell when someone new to this board is starting of by 'hustling' the posters here for business.

Vic, is not in trouble if you have read any of his posts here at TCI, so your assessment of the situation was totally wrong.

When you spend the time learning about the posters here as I have and several others have then you will understand what we are here for.

No secret email me I have all the answers or in my consulting career I have helped many people.

Let us see what you are made of by answering the questions in a manner to help, then sometimes you may slide in an advertisement or two, it is called paying your dues.

Welcome on board this board, just some friendly advice to get you started on the right foot.

    Visualized,

I meant Vis not Vic in the above post, sometimes these old eyes and fingers play tricks on me.

I am sure someone on the board here has something that works for them, maybe I should design one that works I mean how tough can it be?

    Hey John,

Good looking out! To anyone reading this who doesn't already know: John Locke has advised me on several occasions. He has done so without the request of any money. Of course, one must expect some limitations to the advice that is recieved on this board. Some of the gurus are trying to sell their products and if they offered you all the info....well, what would be of those that spent money on their products?

My advice? I think the approach of "piecing together the excerpts" is extremely informational. This is how I have I got my feet wet. I continously study and apply where applicable. That's where the questions that propell you further come up.

Also, don't forget to post nice testimonials about the nice people that help you out on this board. Sometimes, I sense a "gimmie" feeling from the boards. It would be refreshing to hear a post thanking John, Tonya, ShortsalesPro,TaxJunkie,JohnMichael...err, the list continues....sorry to those I have not mentioned!

    John,

I am too lazy to write my own article...that's why I am asking if anybody has information on where I can download some.

you are right though. it is easy to design a nice package.

I have seen some stuff from a guy who posts here by the name of (can I say this here? I'm sure John will correct me if I shouldn't) Derrick Ali. It's a whole packet of things for the homeowner in foreclosure to use to save his/her home. I think it's along the idea of what you are looking for. It has a name of HLP kit or something. The main reason I bring it up is that I think this idea of expanding your marketing by looking at the homeowner's side is a great idea and I recommend it to anyone.

PS I have met a group of investors in my area that have added a stream of income by doing foreclosure consulting. This takes the form of advocating for homeowners in foreclosure WITHOUT trying to buy the property from them. If this is something you might be interested in let me know and I'll post their info. They are very free with discussing their strategy with other investors. It definitely gives you a different point of view.[ Edited by KP on Date 05/17/2003 ]

    hello kp
by all means please post the info
there are little guys9like me) out here with no check book or debit/credit card to click and buy these manuals so a bite here and there would just be a beautiful thing
it kinda like (for example a soup kitchen)
if you see the mentors as the providers and all the newbies are the homeless (just for the example no offense meant)
most of the homeless who come to eat have nothing but there time to offer
in exchange for the meal I know that I fit that scenario so it is very refreshing to know that there are some out here on the board that are willing to feed us enough to keep us going (a little... long winded) but i just wanted to explain a charitable overview of how i see people that give freely on here and i thank you all please continue

Of Course I would be interested in the consulting aspects! Please post the information.

It should be noted that in California, there is an issue with labeling one's services as "foreclosure consulting". A few years back, 1095 law was enacted to protect distressed sellers from scam artists who would disguise themselves as "foreclusre consultants."

If you would like to e-mail the information my e-mail address is hhequity4u@yahoo.com

Oh, yeah...I am aware of D.A.s kit. He is a great marketer. I have read many of his posts. Thanks for the reply posts all!

    Happy Investing,
