Dont Get Frustrated!
I just started researching REI a month ago, and today, I closed on my first deal!
Thanks to everyone who helped me out along the way. I want to tell my story, and hopefully, it may help someone out.
I went to look at a house, and it was a total disaster! It wasnt worth half of what they were asking, because of the street it was on....very run down.
So, I left, feeling down, and thinking "how is this possible?!" Well, I turned the corner to head back, and went by a house that had a FSBO sign. I quickly backed up,and looked at the sign. It was an out of town phone #. PERFECT! I thought. I called the guy, and negotiated a good deal with him, and assigned the contract to an investor, and made $2000 on the deal. I know some make more...but im estactic about that $2000!!!! ( Im going to make a copy of my check, and keep it next to me in my office at all times!)
So, I guess what im saying is....dont give up! Your 1st (or next) deal may be right around the corner! (literally

Very cool Nate! On the right track....see what you get for being attentive? slackers would've stayed bummed about the POS house and not even bothered with the FSBO....good luck all!
