Do Any Of You Have Experience With The CoStar Site?
I've been looking into using the CoStar web site for commercial property research and would like to hear of any first hand experiences you may have had.
It's pretty pricey, but also looks like it could be a valuable tool to finding opportunities out there.
I assume you've already checked out TCI, right? It's a lot less, and offers some (but not all) of the same functionality.

I didn't like it as much. just look and feel.
I don't know which has a larger inventory either.
We have subscribed to CoStar and have used it for more than one year. CoStar is the only service that I am aware of that is proactively updated. is updated by the brokers, if they spend the time to update the information. You will find that quite often the data is stale.
I actually have hired two of CoStar's former sales reps, so you are more than welcome to contact our office and as for Alex or Eric and "pick" their brains regarding CoStar.
