Determining The Balance On The Mortgage Before Going To The Auction
How do I find out the remaining balance owed on the property that will be foreclosed. Sometimes the trustee will not disclose the opening bid which is the remaining balance on the loan plus some attorney and trustee costs. It makes sense to know the balance on the loan first before acquiring other information about the property like liens and title searches, comparables, etc. Please help.
