Description Of Property?

How do you guys find out what the property is like inside. Mine was sold as is. Just looking to get an idea how many beds/baths. ect. Trustee wont tell me. Owner contact is a no go also.

    Most tax assessors office a have a property data card on every property in that county. Simply ask to look at it it will usually tell you beds, baths, square footage. If a permit was taken for an improvement ie. basement finish it will also have notes on that as well.

    When buying properties with out seeing the inside I always assume the worse and use that to determine if it is worth it.

    I am mostly concerned if the property is structurally sound which is usually easy to determine from the exterior. Cosmetic fix-up is fairly in-expensive. We always figure on repainting and floor coverings in all properties we purchase, once in a while you will need to re-place furnace or something like that but if bought right it doesn't really mater.
