Debt Settlement/Elimination
Hi,
I have about 36k in unsecured debt (credit cards and a line of credit from a credit union). It got this bad due to a recent period of unemployment. I need some way out from under it fast. Has anyone had any experience, either good or bad, with trying to either eliminate or settle on debt?
I am current at the moment, and have good credit. If my credit gets trashed in the process, I am not too worried, as I am not planning on needing it again for a few years, which gives me time to repair and rebuild it.
