I got 6 acre of land under contract for 15k total. Tax commisioner office appraised at 95k how do can I make this work and what are my options
any suggestions greatly appriciated
Where can I check it for any liens is it the title company also?

Some critical issues relate to what can be done with the land -- meaning what uses does the zoning permit, minimum lot size requirements, availability of public v. on-site utilities, can it be subdivided and if so, into how many parcels. If the land were built out, what would the sale value of the end product be. Title issues -- liens, encumbrances, easements, deed restrictions (the title company can check these). Phase 1 environmental. If you're planning to subdivide, you'll need a civil engineer to collect site info and prepare plans. If your objective is to sell the property to a builder even without doing a subdivision, you'd be better off having these issues investigated because builders will want to know answers to these questions and need the info to decide if they'll buy the piece, how much they'll pay, and terms.
