D#%m Agents Part 2!!

Well, as a follow-up to my last post (i.e. D%$m Real Estate Agents), I think I've found someone to work with. He did ask me did I take Carlton Sheets course, (I haven't, why do they all ask that?)

He said that most of the good REO deals go fast, but I'm not so sure, b/c I've found tons of listings of REO that have been sitting, I actuall think I schooled him on a thing or two. I'm not looking for the deals that everyone else wants, I want the ones that people walk away from (the junkers).

Sometimes I get discouraged b/c they are real quick to say how most don't succeed in this business. But I'm getting use to it, the odds have stacked against me since I was born, so I'm use to going after the impossible dream. And I honestly believe that failure is the next step right before success.

I don't think this business is hard to do, I know it takes work, but I'm not competing with other investors, they are my allies, the ones that I "flip" the deals to or get referrals from. I'm the most successful when I compete with myself.

So to everyone out there who is frustrated and wants to give up, just don't look at "failure" as not succeeding. Look at it as the next stepping stone to get you where you want to be. If you didn't screw up, you wouldn't know what doesn't work. That goes for anything. This is my two cents for the day.

Dee wink
