Cover/Offer Letters
Does anybody have and be willing to share Offer letters to banks when doing a SS?
Do you have ones specifically for Mtg 1, Mtg 2, Mtg 3 etc? I have a second and third I need to make an offer on ASAP.

I first call in and attempt to negotiate the person in charge of this file. I simply say that I need a short payoff and would like to know who to fax my authorization to release information to. Find the name (GET THE PHONE NUMBER!) and fax away. Here is what my exact fax says. I do it right on the fax cover sheet:
Dear Lana (loss mit rep's name),
Attached is authorization to release information regarding file 6751558556 (loan #).
It is requested that the following information be faxed immediately to the number above:
1) A loan workout request application
2) Loan status and terms (interest rate, amount of montly payment, etc.)
3) A loan payoff statement
4) Any preliminary title work the file may contain
Thank you for your time, blah, blah.

I have already talked to the people. 1 wants a full appraisal, title search, letter from 1 mtg co. with balance of payoff.
Second is 15K and he (branch mngr) said he would take 13K, but call the attorney that is foreclosing.
I am just looking to see if anybody had pre made letters (with some modifications made) that they send stating their offer.
