In Texas, the date on the foreclosure list at the county courthouse, is that the date that the property was sold or the date that the property was made public and the owner has so many days to become current. I live in Houston Tx. 
In Texas the foreclosure has to be posted 21 days before the first Tuesday of the month. All foreclosures occur on the first Tuesday of the month. In Houston thats done at the family law center downtown. If this is a foreclosure in Sugarland it might be a Fort Bend foreclosure which should be done at their county Courthouse.
