Cooperation
I've been reading posts lately questioning what to do if the Seller backs out, or how to obtain mortgage information.
Don't forget that the acquisition of preforeclosed real estate is a team effort.
You'll need the enthusiastic cooperation of the Seller from initial contact to closing.
If you are seeking a preforeclosure short, you'll need the cooperation of the foreclosing mortgagee(s). And maybe a bankruptcy trustee.
So keep your interface non adversarial.
