Converting A Nursing Home Into Condos?
there is a nursing home in my town that is going to be closing. the owner has filed the petitons to close up shop. he already has three prospective buyers and the story just broke in the paper today. i guess the communinty and patients of the home are all up in arms about it. im interested in possibly pursuing this. its in a great location where this type of conversion has been happening all over, mostly old schools being convt. , what kind of zoning would a nursing home fall under? and would i have to get it rezoned to turn into condos? also how should i come up with a figure (price) to offer the owner who already has prospective buyers and im sure will this story wont help a bit. any help would be much appreciated. i dont know the sq footage, but i know it houses 120 beds and has a very large parking area. any help would be much appreciated.
