Hey Sanderso,
In reference to your question, what you are referring too are" Liquidated Damages".
Used to inforce time frames and are accompanied by a dollar value ie: $5000.00 a day for every day the contractor is over the alloted time in the contract documents. Yes you can put what ever language in the contract you want. But let me remind you!! Their are laws concerning contracts that you must pay attention to ie: Predatory lending,UCC
