I am thinking about contacting some BK Attorneys for leads of people who are in default. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this and what you would say to the attorneys to ask them to work with you?
I doubt that BNK attorneys would give you the time of day... but since bankruptcy is a matter of public record you don't really need them for leads.
Most folks in bankruptcy don't have the capacity to enter a contract to list their property, or sell their property without bankruptcy trustee approval...
I realize that they can't enter into a contract. But if the person has a buyer for the home it is easy to get it released from the BK. What I want to do is establish a relationship so that the attorney can tell their client "Hey call this guy about buying your house." I was wondering if anyone had ever formed a relationship like this before and how they went about it?
