There's a service called Marshall & Swift's.
Yes there are construction cost estimating software out there. I have not personally used one before. I still do my estimating the old fashioned way..but it works. You can always get estimates from General Contractors.

I have seen a simple Excel Spreadsheet that allows you to input cost and get a running total of the project cost etc. Does anyone know or have one of these?
