Condo Insurance ?
I bought a condo and insured it as an owner occupant. The insurance only covered my personnel items and 20,000 for internal damage if the condo was completely destroyed. I moved and am now renting out the condo. I called to change the insurance and was told I could not insure the interior of the dwelling alone. I am paying to insure my belongings and the dwelling; my belongings are not covered because I don't live there. My belongings are already covered by my home owner’s policy were I live now. Also they raised my rate because it is not owner occupied. Is there an insurance company that will insure a condo interior without all these games?
