Condo Conversion
I am thinking of converting my two family to condos, so that I can sell the downstairs to my friend who is renting it.
I am interested in the cheapest way to do this, and what I must do? Any ideas would be helpful. 
You need to file condo docs with the State. I suggest you contact a lawyer familiar with condominimizing existing properties.
In general you will need.
1. "as builts" blue prints if not originals
2. Condo docs
3. management budget
4. copies of any maintenance agreements
5 Survey
6. Copy of existing deed..
