Can someone please tell me how to find notices of default in computerized courthouse records?

In California where I live it's ****Must Reach Senior Investor status before posting URL's***.
Also does anyone know if the daily commerce is still in print in L.A. or online?

On the site, just check for the list of Recorder document codes and then enter that code as a search parameter.

In Clark County, NV it is 127.

    Best of luck

    Hi!

I live in SoCal, and I'm trying to look up same info!

I found Daily Commerce is still around. I go to Norwalk frequently, and plan to swing by the library there on Imperial Highway to look at Daily Commerce. Alternatively, I could walk next door to the LA County Recorder's office and search to my heart's content!

Logan, couldn't find a way to message you or find your email, but would be interested in trading notes with you regarding RE investing in SoCal. I'm thinking of going to upcoming SoCal REI club (see***Must have at least 5 friends to unlock***). Please email me at address in my profile or message me here if you're interested in trading information.

JohnLV, don't think our LA Counter Recorder is online, but actually haven't fully figured that one out yet. If you know anything, would love to hear it. BTW, was considering buy and hold rental properties that appear to slightly cash flow in Vegas/Henderson area. Any suggesitons or advice you could offer? Know of any good property management in the area?

Thanks to all, and good luck investing!

    Hi Kevin,
I agree that LA County Recorder is not online to get documents, but here is their site anyway.

Orange and Riverside County Recorders are online so if these are useful, then here they are:

    http://regrec.co.la.ca.us/main.htm

    http://www.oc.ca.gov/recorder/

    http://riverside.asrclkrec.com/

Vegas is still booming with no end in site, so anywhere in the area is good.

    Best of luck

    John (LV)
