Choosing A Lending Company
What should be the criteria in selecting a lending company in which to do business with?
I received a call from a vice president of a mortgage company, who has an inhouse legal staff, title company, etc.
I contacted the Calif. Dept of Real estate to verify the company's info, and inquired of any disciplinary actions against the company. Legitimate business. No disciplinary actions.
I've been referred to an experienced realtor, who has recommended her lending company. Suggestions? recommendations? all are appreciated.
